History
The origins of the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) started with the establishment of the Emergency Veterinary Service in 1981 by a core of area veterinary hospitals. Over the years, other specialty practices joined the Emergency Veterinary Service and formed the WVRC in Spring 2000. Today, the WVRC is recognized as one of the largest, most diverse private veterinary emergency/referral hospitals in the state of Wisconsin. In February 2008, WVRC expanded it's highly acclaimed Emergency Services to a second location in Grafton WI.
At WVRC, we work together with you and your veterinarian to provide the best care available. We act as an extension of your primary veterinarian when specialized diagnostics, treatments or procedures are required. The members of WVRC share a vision and a common set of core values to provide you and your pet the highest quality veterinary care in southeastern Wisconsin.

After my clinic was closed I was in a quandry with my precious cat Morgan. After speaking to your excellent staff on the phone, I realized that Morgan was in pain and needed medical intervention ASAP. I quickly brought her in to the clinic and was promptly attended to. I am grateful and will recommend your clinic to all that I know might need your help one day.
