What does an Anesthesiologist do?
To maximize your pet’s safety under anesthesia or sedation, an Anesthesiologist can customize the type and dose of the anesthesia required when doing a procedure on your pet.
They can carefully administer and monitor your pet’s anesthesia/sedation levels while your pet is undergoing a procedure and ensure a high level of safety under anesthesia.
After a procedure or during times of traumatic injuries, an anesthesiologist can also develop a regimen of pain medications to keep your pet comfortable and pain-free while they are convalescing.
